Manzano leaves Cowboy program
University of Wyoming head basketball coach Heath Schroyer announced on Thursday that Thomas Manzano has decided to leave the Cowboy basketball program for personal reasons.
“We wish Thomas nothing but the best in his future endeavors,” Schroyer said.
Manzano, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. who transferred to Wyoming from Garden City Community College, played in all eight games this season. The sophomore was averaging 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Schroyer will have not have any further comment.
